FAQ
Is this free to use?
Yes — every calculator on this site is free, with no signup required for the core tools.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can calculate your profit anonymously. Account features like saved scenarios and reports are planned for later.
How accurate are the default marketplace fees and GST rates?
Every default is sourced and dated — look for the badge under each advanced field, marked official, reliable secondary, or estimate. Marketplace fees and tax rules change over time, so always confirm against your own seller dashboard before making pricing decisions.
What's the difference between Contribution Profit and Net Profit?
Contribution Profit subtracts product cost, shipping, fees and ads — but not fixed overhead like rent or salaries. It tells you whether a product or channel is working. Operating Profit includes fixed overhead too.
Why does my RTO rate matter so much?
Return to Origin orders are shipped out, cost you freight both ways, and generate zero revenue. For COD sellers, RTO rates are often 5-10x higher than prepaid — frequently the single biggest hidden profit leak.
